Today, W3C joined in the formation of a scholarly annotation coalition, organized by W3C Member Hypothes.is. The aim is to advance the state of annotations on the Web and in scholarly publishing, and W3C plays a crucial role in standardizing the technology necessary to bring this to the Web.
